Borodin, Aleksandr - Sérénade (Petite Suite/Μov.6), Calleja - Video

Post by Kostas Manolkidis » Mon Mar 18, 2019 7:18 pm

:bye: :bye: :bye:

This is my fifth video for 2019!!
A great little transcription of Borodin's Serenade (composed for the piano).

Transcribed by the Spanish classical guitarist Francisco Calleja (1891-1950).
Thanks for watching and have a great week everyone!

This is very beautiful and very interesting, Kostas.
After "La Zaide" you offer to us a new jewel, which is why I support your choices and wait impatiently to your next upload.
Just keep going,... you have one supporter, at least. :)

Best, Bertran II

It means a lot to see somebody say these words!! So many beautiful pieces could have been integrated to our repertoire in the past, but the world is absurd and this is the beauty of it. I recently uploaded the last movement of Ponce's lost sonatina for guitar on the "our recordings of Manuel Maria Ponce" section. It's one of his most powerful and hispanic compositions. Have a listen when you have time, and thanks for everything!

Kostas.
