New guy from Kentucky

Post by jmb1983 » Sat Jul 13, 2019 9:12 pm

Hi, I'm new to the forum. So, I guess I should get right into the important stuff. I play a Francisco Navarro Concert model with a cedar top and palo escrito back and sides. I also have a Benito Huipe flamenca blanca (with a cedar top). I play mostly classical, but I have recently decided to learn some flamenco as well. I started learning guitar as a rocker but eventually made the leap into classical music. I still play a little rock (with a Charvel San Dimas Mexican with Slime Green finish, for full disclosure). Also, I've tried my hand at luthiery as a bit of a hobby, nothing more. I've yet to make anything that has both sounded good and looked good (oh well), but I have learned a lot more of what goes into guitar making which helps me to appreciate and evaluate guitars all the more. I don't really have anything interesting to say right now, I just thought that I would introduce myself.
