Owl,

It's been a long while since I've posted. What brought me here today was a need to load up some MP3's on my work computer. In addition to your Asturias and Recuerdos del Alhambra, I now have Cordoba.

Excellent reference pieces that are truly an inspiration!

Owl, I really think I speak for everyone when I say: You do the forum an immense honour in sharing yourself with us.

Your playing is magnificent. I couldn't imagine this piece sounding more beautiful, or heart-felt.

You're an immense inspiration.

Mitch.

Owl -

This performance (which I've just discovered) is absolutely superb - tone, tempo choice, dynamics, all just exactly right. You're playing is simply beautiful, and full of expression. You achieve a perfect balance of intellect and natural musicality which is rare, and which really is the whole point of playing music. Thank you so much for sharing this, you are an extremely gifted lady and you brightened up my day.

Hi Owl,

Having just recently joined the forum I am still finding my way around...but I think I have just had the most wonderful introduction... I have just listened to 3 of your recordings (Cordoba, Asturias, and Barrios' Valse 3 op.8). Wow! You make beautiful music. :bravo:

Can I ask you how you recorded these pieces - are they home recording jobs or something more professional? If they are from home I'd love to know what equipment you are using.

Christa, the score is available at most sheet music stores... I think the JW arrangement is readily available

owl, this is still teh awesome, but I didn't come here just to repeat myself... there's an arrangement by Monsieur Delcamp on the French forum I think it only takes two posts to get access to that forum.

@Jasoir, sorry, I neglected to answer your question earlier... this piece was recorded in my teachers studio, however it was recorded on professional equipment by a professional sound technician
