Thanks in advance.

Alan Alexander has a pretty nice version in one of his books.

Yes, but is there some score that is free?

Good luck with that! :) I used to scour the Internet trying to find free scores for CG, but most of the stuff out there was subpar quality. But I also came to realize that I wanted quality pieces to play so I began to seek out composers that wrote/arranged for the CG and paid them for high quality arrangements. After all, I would be playing these pieces for years and the small amount I paid would support the composers and keep people writing for the guitar.

Good luck on your search!

He does, and he is a really nice guy. He has often thrown in a couple of free pieces with my last few orders.

There's a free transcription (not easy!) available made by K. Minami (Japan).
It's not allowed to post the link here, because the site contains material with
doubtful copyright status, too.
If you send me a private message with your mail address, you'll get the music.

There is an arrangement by Per-Olov Kindgren. It's fairly affordable.

What is? That there is a version on this site? Or that there is a free version available? Or?

Depending on where you live, you could try searching Sheet Music Plus. Identify which anthologies include an arrangement of this tune, then see if those anthologies are available at your local library. If not, try ordering them via inter-library loan.

I've seen at least a dozen arrangements of this piece over the years. Giovanni De Chiaro offers a nice arrangement in his Wedding anthology. Christopher Boydston does as well, and I think I like Christopher's arrangement better.

Really, this piece has been arranged so many times that the only challenge will be deciding on which to play, assuming that you can get the anthologies from your library.

I think the best arrangement is in

https://www.melbay.com/Products/99904BC ... uitar.aspx

Not free but I think Google books or Amazon give a fairly generous preview.

That's an excellent anthology. John's arrangement of Hava Nagila is the best guitar arrangement I've ever heard, and I intend on learning it before I become food for daisies.
