Tárrega, Francisco - Lágrima - D05

Post by btb » Mon Jun 12, 2006 2:38 am

Another Lagrima ... :D Adagio this time

The beauty of this song for me is it's so open to interpretation, I never have to play it the same way twice :) Tarrega's music is similar to the blues in a lot of ways...

Anyway hope you like it - not perfect, but I had fun doing it. Comments/Critisism welcome

Bravo Bumpa!
Really mate there's beauty in there.
The ending (not only) was perfect! Note that!
Volume and tempo dynamics are fine, but this piece allows even more freedom to that. I sometimes feel like staying forever over one particular note, just as i feel like dropping two or three bars in the time of one.
Thanks! And keep going friend ! :applauso:

Thanks for posting this Bill ! There can never be too many Lagrima's et.al. - that's why this section is here... so many different interpretations, and I learn something and find something I want to try with every listen. I loved the little harmonics you provided and, you're right - with these Tarrega pieces there is so much you can do with them. Really enjoyed it - :casque: :merci: Mike
